Maxime Ansiau was born in France (Paris 1972), studied Art and Design at the University of Brighton (UK 1994/1998) and then moved to the Netherlands to follow a Master of Art programme at the Sandberg Institute (Amsterdam 1998/2000). Currently he's still in the Netherlands, where he set up his own studio in Rotterdam.
